Will we see whales?

Sightings are guaranteed from April to October, and likely from November to March.  We are members of the Pacific Whale Watch Association (PWWA),

committed to education, conservation, and responsible whale watching. Our network is in constant contact, keeping each other updated on all whale sightings in the Pacific Northwest.

Where do we go?

Across the Strait of Georgia to the breathtaking Canadian Gulf Islands, the US San Juan Islands, where we watch whales and other wildlife in their natural habitat. It is an unforgettable trip of a lifetime!

How long is the trip?

Every trip is different as we explore the Canadian Gulf Islands, the US San Juan Islands, and beyond, in search of whales and other wildlife. Our trips are typically between three to five hours.

What does it cost?

The rate for this unforgettable adventure tour is $189/person (plus a $25 fuel surcharge and $4 conservation fee per person). Availability is limited. All rates are in Canadian currency and subject to the 5% Goods and Services Tax.

When do we leave?

We depart Crescent Beach Marina, 12555 Crescent Road, Surrey, BC, Canada. See the daily schedule for each tour listed under our Tours tab. Please arrive 10 minutes before departure.

What should I bring?

We suggest weather-appropriate layered clothing, gloves, a toque (knit cap), sunglasses, and bring money if we’re able to stop at one of the islands for a snack and beverage. Space is limited, so pack light, no alcohol or drugs, and all is subject to inspection by the captain prior to departure.

What should I wear?

We recommend that you wear sunglasses, waterproof boots or closed-toed shoes at the least, a hat suitable for fast open boats (such as a toque/beanie), gloves, a fleece jacket, and long pants. Please plan to dress for the season.

Where can I park?

Parking is available at Crescent Beach Marina, located at 12555 Crescent Road, Surrey, BC, Canada. Tickets can be purchased at the marina store.

Are there any restrictions?

Please note that our trips are weather-dependent, and we reserve the right to postpone trips or change boats due to weather or mechanical problems. If your trip is postponed, we will assist you in reserving a future date. Trips are not refundable, nor are they recommended for those with health concerns. Please call us if you have questions.
